No riding, so what do you do to pass the winter? Research shoes. Picked up a pair of Diadora road shoes. My toes would go numb with my old shoes unless I was wearing the perfect pair of socks and had the straps adjusted just right.
Plus, new gear always makes me faster, right?
One complaint: I ordered the shoes from Nashbar. Got carbon road shoes for $108 off mspr. Nashbar is 3 hours away and it cost $10 shipping and took 6 days to get here!
